Kari Goodnight

Paralegal

 

Kari plays an integral role on the firm’s trial teams, supporting attorneys with legal and factual research, legal writing, preparation of exhibits, and day-to-day case management at all phases of complex civil and criminal litigation.  At Reilly Pozner, our paralegals are trained in the use of CT Summation (for litigation support and eDiscovery) and Sanction Legal Presentation software.

Prior to joining Reilly Pozner, Kari worked as a litigation paralegal for four years at Morrison & Forester.  Before moving to Colorado, she worked as a paralegal for two years at a law firm in Oklahoma City. In her previous positions, Kari worked on complex litigation cases involving patent infringement claims, contract disputes, and class actions. 

Kari earned her paralegal certificate from the University of Oklahoma in 2004.  She is a member of the Rocky Mountain Paralegal Association and also Women in eDiscovery.

Kari holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a sociology minor, from the University of Oklahoma.  After graduation, she worked as a program specialist at the University of Oklahoma Central Case Registry, where she maintained a state database for child support cases.  As an undergraduate, she worked as a support clerk for the Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office.
