Caleb Durling
Associate
Caleb Durling focuses his practice on civil and commercial litigation. Before joining the firm, he served as a law clerk for Chief Justice Mary Mullarkey of the Colorado Supreme Court -- where he gained valuable research and writing experience as well as exposure to diverse areas of civil and criminal law. Caleb enjoys the strategy involved in a litigation practice -- in particular, identifying and planning for any issues that might arise during the course of litigation. Currently, he is very interested in the subject of e-discovery and the challenges it presents for state courts. At Northwestern University School of Law, Caleb graduated with honors. He was a research and teaching assistant as well as executive editor of the school's Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology (winning that publication's "best comment" award). While in law school, he served summer internships at the Colorado Attorney General's office, the Cook County (Illinois) Circuit Court and a boutique Denver law firm specializing in information security. Caleb also earned his undergraduate degree with honors in American Studies (with a minor in French) from Northwestern University, where he was co-founder of an independent Internet radio station.
Quote:
"I learned that, if you work hard enough, almost anything is possible. I bring that approach to my practice of law.”
